What would it be? Can only be a game that has not been announced yet, of course.
The President of your favorite company calls you up and says "Name a game and we'll make it". Which do you pick?
I'm going to name a couple, in order of how much I'd want them:
#1- SUIKODEN 6 ... A game that takes place after 3. Explores Yuber a little more. Flik and Viktor would be a must as major characters, similar to S2. Inclusions of past Heros would be sweet, as well.
#2- SEQUEL TO THE SOUL BLAZER SERIES ... I loved every game that was associated with this series, including the Act Raisers, which technically weren't at all, I guess. I didn't even know Terranigma existed until a few years ago, but I loved that, too.
Definitely Jak 4 over anything for me, I just really want that series to make a comeback so badly! That and I suppose I'd really like to see a new Ape Escape come out, again another PS2 series I loved as a younger kid. I'm all for the nostalgia
Never got to play the Jak and Daxter games, but I'd like to. Is it kind of like Banjo Kazooie? 3d platformer type stuff? I stopped gaming when ps2 came out and missed ps2 and ps3 so I'm now catching up on a LOT of stuff, starting with the RPGs, as they're my favorite genre.
I'd love to see a new Crash Bandicoot game in the style of the classic ones, the original three are still some of my favourite 3D platformers. The Time Trial feature would also be a must to include in this game- it kept me playing Crash 3 for ages. I still pick it up sometimes to try and get the Platinum Relics(I've got 14 to go). Crash has just been gone for too long, and hasn't even had any really good games for years(Twinsanity was the last great one IMO, I enjoyed the Titans games but I don't think they're that great and they have flaws), and I miss his zany style. I'd buy a PS4 in a heartbeat if I heard an official announcement about a new Crash game...

Yeah I hear ya, I missed out on the PS3, and on Jak and Daxter, yeah it's a really good 3D platformer, I highly suggest you get the three main games, or just swipe the HD Collection for PS3. I grew up on the 3D platformer. Crash, Sly Cooper, Jak, Ape Escape, Ty the Tasmanian Tiger, I loved them. I'd love to see them make a little comeback in the Eight Gen

The first one was my favorite RPG on the PS. I liked it alot more the Final Fantasy 7 and just thought that overall it was better then FF7. The story, the characters way better. I am not the only one too. It's really a shame that FF7 stole the limelight from this great game and honestly I am surprised that a sequel hasn't ever been made. I mean if Final Fantasy can have 7 more bad games after Final Fantasy 7 I can't see why Dragoon never became a series.

Tasuki, I've heard that opinion before but I honestly don't understand it. I'm about halfway through Lagoon, and have seen nothing that makes it better than FF7. Now, nothing about it is BAD, but nothing about it is above mediocre, either. It's just "pretty good", atleast so far. I wonder if people who have that opinion, have it as a result of the "First Decent RPG" effect. It seems whatever someone's first decent RPG was, is better to them than whatever the more popular one of the time is. I DO think FF7 is a little overrated, but it did many things well, and was the first real 3d RPG, I believe. It was also the first to *SPOILER ALERT********* Kill off a main character *******END SPOILER ALERT******, which, in my opinion is one of the main reasons it's remember so fondly. Many, many people I know name that moment as one of the most memorable moments of their childhood, and I'm included there. I agree that there were some bad ones after. I personally couldn't get into 8, thought X was awful, and thought 13 spelled the end of Final Fantasy as we knew it, but 9 was great. Maybe the best of all of them. I'm also in the group that really, really enjoyed 12. Again, all my opinion, of course.
@LetsGoRetro if you own a Dreamcast I would more then strongly suggest Shenmue.. It is a beautiful experience! You can also find Shenmue 2 for The original Xbox if you had one laying around.
Just to add another game (series) I'd greenlight speaking of the Xbox, it'd be KOTOR.

Well I will one flaw with your replay is that Final Fantasy VII came out 3 years before Legend of Dragoon did so I can't see how that is a point. I dont know but I will admit I never finished Final Fantasy VII cause honestly I just got bored of it. For some reason Legend of Dragoon kept me interested up until the end causing me to finish it as well as the optional boss. I enjoyed the characters alot more too but just like you its all my opinion. I think though the problem was at least during that era is that FF 7 just set the bar too high and any RPG that was to follow was doomed from the beginning.
