Topic: HDMI signal loss

Hi

I just bought a PS4 C Chassis. I played for about 2 days for maybe 7 hours with no problem, then it started to suddenly lose the HDMI signal and get a black screen - only way to come back from it was turning off the power on my ps4 and turning it back on. And then it happened more and more and now it happens after less than 10min of playing games - I'm starting to get errors on disc now saying my disc game are corrupted.

I have no idea why this is happening but it's clearly getting worse (maybe turning off the power every time to reset it is not helping).

I have changed the HDMI cable but same problem. The PS4 is on this projector: https://www.amazon.com/BenQ-MX520-Lumen-SmartEco-Projector/dp...

Please help!

@ph71: I'm starting to get errors on disc now saying my disc game are corrupted.

That's not good. Right firstly I'm guessing this is a second hand ps4 - I've never had this message but all I can deduce is that the console is broke somewhere either A - the disc drive or the lasers misaligned (reading wrong info off the disc sending the ps4 all scatty) or worse still B - a problem with the motherboard or the cpu is slow or there isn't enough compute units bringing the stability right down due to the heat of your 2 long gaming sessions burning something out. Basically something unfixable by a general electronics store maybe caused by the fans not working properley. A problem I've had is when the console cant compute a calculation, the cpu goes all wonky and the ps4 automatically resets (which is one of the problems your having). Its happened on my ps4 loads and always has - it was one of the earlier models and its slower moving through the ui menus than my sons is whilst using the internet whilst a game is on pause, and struggles more all round and resets loads. My guess is I have a slow performing cpu. So my guess for you is an overheated computer which has caused major components to fail.

Obviously if its new take the ps4 back as that shouldn't be happening.
