...and there's LOADS of them!

I know there's going to be a post about this later on anyway, but I just wanted to flag again how damn good this website is: https://psprices.com/region-gb/discounts?platform=all&sor...

Not sure why it takes Sony forever and a day to post an update on the blog, as the full list of discounts is already tracked and displayed here.

From 16/08/15 I’m going for sober for six months to raise money for the Princess Alice Hospice. Donations can be made here and anything you can offer is greatly appreciated: https://www.justgiving.com/Stephen-Butler5

Wish me luck!

@SteveButler2210: See im in a limbo at the moment. I am no longer on PS Plus as the games are utter trash at the moment but the discounts are very good. Is it worth forking out for a sub to save money or just go without the sub and pay a little extra per game. First world problems :/

That is a great website!
I really like the fact you can see the prices & frequency of previous sales.

@ZeD: To be honest, if you buy enough games over the course of a year I reckon you would probably end up saving at least £20-30 by the end of that year as a result of the sub discounts, which ends up meaning your basically paying £10-20 at most per year (after the amount you've recouped in savings) to get 6 free games each month. Even if you don't take the savings into account, £40 a year is £3.33 per month, and anyone who complains about anything they pay £3 a month for is mad as far as I'm concerned. It does help though that I am pretty openminded so will give anything a go, and have found myself generally enjoying at least 2-3 of the games given away each month

And @Nifty yeah I found it the other week and I love it. It seems to be 100% reliable, updates right at the start of the day rather than midday, and actually shows the prices (still don't understand why the PS Blog stopped doing this). The historical pricing is brilliant too, as you can make a rough guess as to when something last went on sale to see if it's worth waiting for it to come around again!

@SteveButler2210: Sony have given me a 15% discount code for a year sub of PS+ so a year would cost me only £34, so yeah I might be re-subbing come the 28th

As a huge horror fan, this pleases me greatly. There's a couple of titles I still need to catch up on so I shall get on it! Ethan Carter's riddle shall be solved!

There was a game idea here. It's gone now.

i was disappointed with most of the prices myself. Many of Sony's digital sales have deep price cuts that rival the kinds of discounts that PC games get. I'm hoping Week 2 improves the sale in this regard.

Ugh. Men.
