Cloud Strife -- again, another PS icon. Simply a must.

Kevin Butler would make for an awesome last boss.

A good deal of third party characters... such as:

Kazuma Kiryu (Yakuza)
A Tekken character (Kazuya I suppose)
Commander Shepard (extremely unlikely but it would be pretty great. Slashing people up with the omni-blade!)
Dante (Devil May Cry)
An Assassin (Connor from AC3 I would guess being the most likely?)
A Final Fantasy character (most likely Cloud, most well known)

And a whole bunch of first party characters. But the ones you can pick from the top of your head, like Drake, Cole, Chimera, Jak, Rachet, etc, will almost certainly be in it.

Finally, I hope and pray for the return of Crash Bandicoot.

And how amazing would it be if you could import your own Shepard from your ME3 save file?

... Pretty amazing! Hadn't thought of that. But it's so unlikely we should probably stop planting the seeds of hope in people's heads

Okay.  As far as characters I've played as, I think they should have (of those not announced):

Cole McGrath

Sora (from KH)
Solid Snake (MGS1 or MGS4)
A character from Heavy Rain - most think Ethan would make the most sense, and while I would love one of his specials to be yelling "Jason!", I think Jayden would make for a lot cooler of a character in this type of game.

From games I haven't played, but I think would make sense:

the character from Journey - I'm not sure what everyone likes in the game, and without a demo I don't know if I'd go for it.

Ico/Shadow of the Colossus - I don't know these.

Kazuma Kiryu (Yakuza) - never heard of this one?

Connor (AC3) I think this would be a good idea to bring in current fighters - as long as Ubisoft helps with Sony.

Also: the commander shepard import thing would be super cool.
