So had the PS3 some 10 years and i noticed the controller suddenly wasnt pairing.
Charged it, did the whole reset thing (paper clip in the button on back) , no change. Figured aaah its given me some years it deserves retiremenet, I went on Amazon and bought a new controller - no change, STILL no pairing.
Then i notice it is forever 'signing in' - never online. mmmmmmmmm thinks I. So i hard wire it to the router... sorted, network detected.
Just to be sure it wasnt my router wireless protocol i took it round a mates - same issue on WiFi, "Access Point Not detected"
Now i be honest i can live comfortably without WiFi on the PS3, BUT i have here now a new controller that i cant pair owing to the fact it never 'did' - the old one (that originally didn't pair works fine wired into USB).
Its a first world problem - aren't they all! but does anyone know a work around to get this new kit to play nicely? I dont really want a new PS3 and my knowledge of antenna/NIC and PS3 workings are limited to none, to less !
