I recently got a boxed japanese 20gb ps3 it has YLOD i took it to a console repair guy he took it apart got the error codes off it & it has only 3 days total use it its life very clean like brand new but the interesting thing is the error codes are from 31/12/2005 but the ps3 was realesed in 2006 so have i got some sort of protoype or test unit of some sort before release even the repair guy couldn't believe it that it failed so early on it its life with so little use & has sat untouched for 21yrs so is there anyone out there that might be able to tell me something about it so interested to know?
