Topic: What is going on with the PSN discounts...?

@get2sammyb @shogunrok and co, not sure if you guys have a contact you could ask about this, but do you have any idea what is going on with the PSN discounts this week?

There's been no post on the blog (unless you count brief mention of some PS3 discounts in the store update post the other day), and other than the Deal of the Week updating, there is no obvious new discount section being displayed in the web browser version of the store.

However, when I looked on the store last night from my Vita there was a new "Big Discounts" section added with loads of games in there, but this is not visible from the browser store and hasn't been mentioned on the PSN blog. One of the main reasons for asking was because I wasn't even sure if the prices were right, for a "Big Discounts" offer the discounts were absolutely terrible - most of the games in the list usually go for £5-10 less when they are on sale!!

Would be good to have some clarification re what is going on, the absolute lack of info on the blog, and the weird inconsistency between the stores!

I think they mentioned on the PlayStation Blog Store Update post thing that it was a "slow week" for discounts or something. Maybe they're just having an off week while they line up something bigger?

@get2sammyb: maybe, just seems weird as there's absolutely loads of games in this "Big Discounts" (or maybe it was "Deals") section on the vita store, so even though they're tiny discounts I'm surprised they didn't even get a mention on the blog!
