Topic: Sony's too silent for its own good

@get2sammyb @ShogunRok @antdickens PSN has been down for many hours...has PSN been down for this long globally since the infamous outage back in 2011? 🤔

Also the servers have been down for over 8 hours and Sony hasn't said anything lol, then again Sony not saying anything seems par for the course over the past few years. Some of the posts mentioning them on social media are pretty cheeky to say the least. 🤣

I believe everyone you just pinged right now is likely asleep 😂

Psn does go down a few times, maybe not annually but it certainly happened more than once since 2011 it’s just common

Also as a little anecdote probably don’t ping staff out of nowhere like that especially if they’re (probably) asleep unless something CRAZY happens like the earth exploded

@WiiWareWave it might’ve been down as a result of Sony patching PSN to remove all those ads that sprang up recently. ‘Apparently’ they were the result of a bug rather than a change in advertising policy. Either way, I’ve heard they were patched out overnight.
