Topic: Blocking users on PSN

So this morning I received a string of messages from a former PS user (I believe they may have been banned), after I had forgotten to reply to some other messages they had previously sent me, where they launched into a bit of a tirade at me going off on one about totally unrelated grievances they have with other members of the site, before threatening to leak my personal information online and to "doxx" me, whatever that is.

I didn't have time to deal with this properly, as I had to leave for work, but naturally I will be blocking them later. Just wanted to double check - I assume this will prevent them from all forms of contact, including messaging me, rather than simply making them unable to add me as a friend? Obviously I don't want to be in any form of contact with somebody who, without having had any prior issue with them, begins to threaten me simply because I was slow in responding to a couple of messages they sent me...

I was really quite surprised to be honest, as I've never had any problems with anybody from the site before, bar the odd disagreement here and there which is only natural. Oh well, as I said I'm fairly certain they were banned, and it seems for good reason.

Yeah if you block them they won't be able to contact you in any way. I have had to block a couple of people myself including someone who was from here.
