Topic: Upgrading memory to 2tb question

Hi guys, i have a question for you, i just bought a 2tb seagate hdd and i dont have enough money to buy another external drive to backup my games on, but i have a question.
I have 2 thumb drives, can i use one to update the software and on the other usb i want to place just the saves, themes, etc, i will download the games after, i just need the saves.
Can i do thar or i strictly need an external drive to backup saves etc

@Killshoot if I remember correctly, when you go to back up and restore and click back up, you can choose what to back up which can be limited to saves only

I can't remember if I did that recently or just copied the saves to a usb stick from storage manager because I wanted a fresh install of the OS

@ralphdibny thanks man, i saw that you can also just upload saves in the ps plus cloud, can i just do that, upgrade the hdd and then get my saves from the cloud ?
