Hey,
I have a Seagate 2 TB storage device I use on PS4, i’ve Had it for about 6 months and have never had any issue with it before. Today I went to turn on PS4 and everything was normal and then it wouldn’t let me play any of my games that I had downloaded on the storage device. The light on the device was lit up indicating that it was on but I couldn’t play my games. Please Help.
@jacvosh Resart the console and hopefully you will receive an error message about the drive being disconnected. On the next screen you should get the option to repair the drive. Obviously do this and wait until the drive has been repaired. You will be taken to the dashboard, and your games should be playable after a short while, after the symbol has stopped flashing in the top right hand corner.

@JohnnyShoulder I’ve already tried that and it doesn’t work. I’ve also tried the device on my brothers ps4 and it doesn’t work either. I think I’m gonna have to take it in to get repaired or something.
on topic @jacvosh did you make sure your HDD uses USB 3.0 and does it need it's own power pack because apparently drives that run off a separate power pack (ie NOT powered by the system they are connected too) can have connection issues
