Hoping you can help me with an issue I'm having with my ps5 controller. It was working fine, message came up saying to charge it, I thought I'll sort the following day. Switched it off and when I plugged it in to my wall charger (the same one I use for my Samsung phone), I noticed the orange light was not lit on the contoller. I changed cables, adaptors, plugged in to the console - all to no effect. I disconnected the controller from the console by deleting it. Now I'm stuck with a controller that seemingly doesn't want to charge and I can't connect it with my console again. I've attempted to reset it via the small pin at the back - no change.
Has anyone else ever experienced this? Is this a common or known issue? I got it ~Dec 2021, not used it much, so I can't say I've battered it about and never dropped it. Was working perfectly fine and now it's not.
Anything you can recommed? I'm loathed to buying a new one given how expensive they are as well.
