Trying to download system software and/or update file...
Sony's site has some dead links.
Wary of getting the files from other sources.
Anyone else run into problems like this?

@PENicholson You should be able to download the latest PS4 system software update from Sony's official website, which is working a-okay for me. I'm in the UK, however, and I notice you're in America, so if this link doesn't automatically redirect you to the "en-us" version of the site, Google "latest PS4 software update" and the equivalent localised page should be your top result. Scroll down and follow the instructions.

Yeah, thank you. Trie. I tap the link, go to their site, nothing happens. It's not generating any download. I waited a full minute for any evidence of something happening before clicking again.

@PENicholson Don't beat yourself up. Sony's website should ensure compatibility with all major browsers, to the point where I'm kinda surprised that was the issue!
Anyway, glad you were able to get it sorted in the end.
