So heres a question you probably don't get very often. How do i stop other profiles on my PS4 from having access to my DLC/Addos?

The thing is, i have a friend thats going to start playing the Resident Evil 2 Remake on my console. He will be in his own profile. I already beat the game multiple times, and was considering getting the “All in” DLC pack, but i don't want my friend to have access to all those extra weapons and goodies because it’ll kind of cheapen the whole experience of playing the game.
I cant imagine Mr.X is very scary if you have a rocket launcher.

@BatPerson You're right, that is a new one!

The DLC sharing across multiple accounts is part of the "Primary PS4" feature; playing on a console which isn't activated as your Primary PS4 disables DLC sharing. I hesitate to recommend deactivating your PS4 as your primary console, as it might have other knock-on effects which prevent you from playing purchased content, but perhaps there's something in that approach?

Do some research on what features work (and, crucially, don't work) by having your PS4 activated as your primary console, as only you'll know what specific impact it'd have on your gaming.

Almost related: Also for downloads while on rest mode, your content will download on your primary ps4 automatically, so if you are buying something from pc and start the download it will be downloaded on whoever has the ps4 as primary.

If i were to deactivate the PS4 as my primary PS4, would he still be able to play the game? I ask because the game is Digital rather than on a disc.

EDIT: Tried it. Nope.
So the inly way my friend could play this game without having my DLC is if i were to deactivate the console as my promary, AND he bought a copy of the fame license for himself... Greed is so unbecoming, Sony.

@BatPerson Usually sharing DLC is a good thing, and would actually make Sony less money, I'd imagine, but your attempt to preserve a quality experience for your friend was a noble one. Sorry it didn't work out.

I was talking about the Whole Licensing issue. The game is on the console, someone paid for it. Lol
