So basically I need help. my ps4 randomly shuts off almost a minute or two after I open a game. but the white light stays on. I did a.hard reset on it, the downloaded the games and stuff back onto it, which took like four hours. and it didn't happen. the controller disconnects, and I can't connect it again. then I have to hold the power button until it shuts off. then when I turn it back on, it says that I unplugged the ps4 without turning it off first. I need help please
@Camronw22 When you come to turn it back on again, press and hold the power button until you hear a second beep. This'll put you in Safe Mode; connect a controller using a USB cable and select "Rebuild Database" to give the HDD a bit of a sort. This might fix whatever's glitched.
Because otherwise it's a hardware fault, and you'll have to contact Sony (who are currently closed due to the global pandemic, I'm afraid).
