Needed your help. I just bought a PS3 slim, 120 gb model. I updated it to the latest firmware, that is 4.89. When I started playing games, I noticed that games, specially Ubisoft games like Assassins creed series, Splinter Cell Blacklist, they are all experiencing lags in gameplay and cutscenes. There are both audio and video lags and sometimes. they are both, which causes the audio to overlap each other and cause the game to freeze.
It is not happening with other games though. I am also playing MW3, GTA 4 and Batman Arkham Origins and they seem to run okay.
I just wanted to know if anyone of you has been experiencing the same issue. If anyone with a PS3 has Assassins creed installed, let me know how it is working, specially AC3. Also guys, please let me know if the problem I am facing is because of the software, the hardware or it is just that the games just run like that on PS3.
