Topic: Extended storage keeps repairing

Hi,

I’ve been using an extended storage for a while now, and recently I got another game, but when I first opened the game, it completely corrupted. Then I had to delete the corruption by putting the PS4 into “safe mode” by turning off the PS4 completely and then holding down the power button on the PS4 for 10 seconds.

I then selected the “rebuild data base” option as instructed by various online tutorials, and let the PS4 do its thing. When it had finished, it told me the external storage device I had been using wasn’t disconnected properly (which I hadn’t disconnected anyway), and it need to be repaired. Naturally I said ok and let it repair.

Next I started the new game back up and it didn’t corrupt, but this time it closed the application while I was loading in, and even ejected the disc, while displaying the same message that it needed to be repaired, and this happened over and over again, I said ok, it “repaired”, I loaded up the game and it kicked me back out and requested I repair it.

Can someone please help me, I’m getting really frustrated.
