Topic: Ethernet help

Hi,

Does anyone know how to connect the ps4 pro to wifi booster/extender with an Ethernet cable?

I plugged the Ethernet cable into the back of my ps4 pro and plugged the other end into my wifi booster/extender I then go into network settings on my ps4 pro where you can select connect with wifi or Lan I select Lan and complete the rest of the network connection process but it fails.

Could someone offer me any help to get it working please, I’m really bad at trying to sort these things out.

@Tunstall hmm, this is probably more related to your wifi extender. Does it say you can connect devices in this way? The LAN on those is more to connect to your Internet/Router.

If you’re just connecting to an extender it’s basically still going to be as fast/slow as your wifi anyway.

Ideally you want to get a wired connection all the way to your Internet/Router to see any real benefits.
