So I was playing Gta 5 and it froze and I made a mistake and unplugged my ps4. I tried logging in and my ps4 wouldn’t work. I put it in safe mode and updated it and it worked. It said my data was corrupted and I was unable to open any apps. I deleted the games and redownloaded them. I can open other games but Gta 5 logs me out of out after only 10 seconds after opening it. I deleted the files and the game multiple times and still the same thing. I got on a different account and tried opening Gta and it worked but still nothing on mine. Please help I don’t really want to restart everything.

Do you have the save files on a USB stick or on PS Plus? Might be worth trying booting up in Safe Mode again and use option 5 (Rebuild database) and option 4 (Restore default settings) to see if either of those fix it. It's odd because the PS4 is pretty good at healing itself, usually presents a moaning screen to say that you didn't turn it off properly then rebuilds the database and carries on.
Have you tried anything like removing and re-adding your account onto the PS4?

I would have suggested that maybe your hard drive was on its way out but if you can load and play the game on another user account on the same machine (presumably for more than 10 seconds?) then that's unlikely to be the problem.

@sanderson72 The files were just saved to the ps4 and I thought I deleted everything but I might’ve not done it right. Does option 4 and 5 of safe mode reset anything else? or what do they do. I didn’t really think of removing the account but I’ll try that. And yes I was able to play through a whole mission no problem on the other account. My ps4 is also only a few years old too.

Details on the PS4 safe mode functions can be found here:
https://www.playstation.com/en-gb/support/hardware/safe-mode-...
and options 4 & 5 seem to attempt to sort the PS4 without deleting anything.

Might want to back up saves to a USB stick - another distinct advantage of a PS4 over the PS5 - or PS Plus if you have it.

Seems to be an account problem rather than anything else but I've not seen anything like it before. You might also want to try resetting licences:
Settings > Users and Accounts > Other > Restore Licenses.

@sanderson72 it definitely is an account issue. my friend has my account on his ps4 and tried opening gta. it loaded online up to 90% and then gave me an error and said the data was corrupted. then he went to his account and opened it fine.

As a final step, before getting in contact with Sony's customer helpline, I'd suggest backing up the save (USB/PS+), deleting it from the PS4 and then try loading the game again to see if it starts plays OK from a blank save (I assume you can back it up and restore and it's not an online only save?)
