Hoping someone here is able to shed some light on my problem, I have tried everything that I can think of.
I have gigabit broadband at home and all of my wired devices show in excess of 900Mbps download and 52Mbps upload, which is what I expect.
The problem I have is that when I test the internet connection on the PS4 Pro that I have, it is nowhere near those speeds. It gets even more strange that the WiFi speeds are a lot faster than the ethernet speeds.
On ethernet, I get around 35Mbps download and 3Mbps upload.
On WiFi, I get around 165Mbps download and 4Mbps upload
Something is seriously wrong. I have very decent networking equipment, nothing else is suffering issues, just my PS4.
I have changed the MTU, DNS, port forwarding, everything that I can find on the internet, but nothing helps.
Just for completeness of information, I have also plugged the PS4 LAN cable into my laptop and get over 900Mbps down and 53Mbps Up so there is nothing wrong with the cable or network.
