Mortal Kombat Legacy Kollection PS5
$27.49/£24.74 (-45%)
An agonisingly in-depth archive of the series' importance to the industry, Mortal Kombat Legacy Kollection is the kind of kompilation the franchise has always deserved. While its absent online features do put a small dampener on the bundle at launch, the sheer scale of this kollection and the quality of its supplementary materials make it a must buy – even for kurious passers-by who may find themselves discovering the franchise for the first time.
Neva PS5
$9.99/£6.39 (-50%/-60%)
A follow-up to the picturesque platformer GRIS, Neva is just as beautiful. Featuring truly gorgeous art and animation, this game is a little more action-packed as you follow young woman Alba and her companion wolf through a treacherous land. It's not the deepest game in the world, but it really packs an emotional punch thanks to its incredible presentation.

Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound PS5
$14.99/£11.99 (-40%)
Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound brings the series back to its roots with incredible style. The core gameplay feels fantastic, with satisfying, fast-paced combat and platforming that'll put your skills to the test. With a wealth of challenges to meet and things to find, there's a real richness to each level that gives it plenty of replay value. The wonderful art style is the icing on the cake, and aside from one or two small nitpicks, fans should be very pleased with this throwback adventure.
One Piece Odyssey PS5
$9.99/£6.99 (-75%/-80%)
No matter whether you're a hardcore One Piece fan or a complete newcomer, One Piece Odyssey is an utter joy of a JRPG. Its combat system remains incredibly enjoyable throughout, and new mechanics provide depth and strategy in droves. Most certainly the highlight of the experience, but with fun exploration to boot, you're always assured of a good time. One Piece Odyssey plays a lot like Dragon Quest XI, and it's not that far off being just as good as it.
Pacific Drive PS5
$9.89/£8.24 (-67%)
A unique driving adventure, Pacific Drive is a supernatural roguelike where a busted up old car is the star of the show. Featuring a mysterious narrative woven through your excursions into a creepy exclusion zone, this is a survival game with a heavy focus on maintaining and upgrading your vehicle. The game can be a little overwhelming at points, but caring for your car really makes it feel special, and there's lots to discover as you explore the zone, getting into all kinds of scrapes.
Penny's Big Breakaway PS5
$9.89/£8.24 (-67%)
As far as 3D platformers go, Penny's Big Breakaway is pretty unique. Largely devoid of combat, this is all about momentum and movement through each colourful stage, but the mechanics and controls will take some getting used to. You use a magical yo-yo to zip around each level, and those that click with the unusual traversal can blitz through stages super fast. Very satisfying once you master it, this cute and unique game is a fun platformer doing something a little different.
Pentiment PS5
$9.99/£7.99 (-50%)
Pentiment is a unique narrative adventure with a stunning art style. Set in 16th century Bavaria, you play as a character who begins an investigation into a murder of which your friend has been accused. Through exploring the setting and chatting with locals, you'll slowly peel back the layers of the mystery as well as interact with the well-observed lives of everyday people. It's a slow-moving but thoughtful and well-executed game.
Persona 3 Reload PS5
$20.99/£19.24 (-65%)
As far as faithful remakes go, Persona 3 Reload is right up there with the best you'll find on PlayStation. The original Persona 3 is an undeniable classic, but Reload greatly improves the experience by modernising its turn-based combat and expanding its storytelling. What's more, it's an utterly gorgeous revival, boasting incredible art direction and some of the most stunning presentation you're ever likely to see in an RPG. A must for existing fans, and for newcomers, a perfect introduction to the Dark Hour.
Persona 4 Golden PS4
$9.99/£8.99 (-50%)
Considered to be one of the most memorable Japanese RPGs of all time, Persona 4 Golden is an excellent video game. Set in the sleepy town of Inaba, you strive to solve a series of strange murders, all while exploring an abstract world that exists inside of TVs. Initially released on PS Vita, the excellent turn-based combat and a brilliant cast of characters will engross you just as much on PS4. The sheer style of Persona 4, along with its outstanding soundtrack, are just the icing on this deliciously golden cake.
Persona 5 Tactica PS5
$17.99/£16.49 (-70%)
Atlus has successfully translated the turn-based combat of its 2017 masterpiece into a competent tactical experience, though Persona 5 Tactica won't be heralded with the same praise. Consistently good during fights, customising your party and mastering its many stages is where the game is at its best. However, there's little to the title besides those skirmishes, and without any exploration or sense of character progression, this feels like the Phantom Thieves at the end of their tether. Joker and co have enjoyed a great run, but Persona 5 fatigue is well and truly beginning to set in.
Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy PS4
$9.89/£8.90 (-67%)
Phoenix Wright has finally made his debut on a PlayStation console in the form of the Ace Attorney Trilogy, and you'll have absolutely no objections from us. This collection of three brilliant games is well worth the attention of adventure game fans, visual novel aficionados, or budding lawyers. The mind-bending, labyrinthine murder plots are far-fetched but engaging, the writing is consistently pithy and amusing, and the characters you'll meet are charming and unique. It's an open and shut case – Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy rocks.
Pistol Whip PS5
$13.49/£11.24 (-55%)
Rhythm games and virtual reality go together wonderfully, and one of the best examples of that is Pistol Whip. Revamped for PSVR2's bells and whistles, this flashy game is essentially an on-rails shooter set to music. It's a simple idea but executed so well, oozing style and allowing the player to pull off some super cool moves. Firing your guns to the beat and dodging incoming attacks with perfect timing is endlessly satisfying, and the Hollywood-inspired levels are all a treat to look at, too.
Sea of Stars PS5
$15.74/£13.49 (-55%)
Set in the same universe as The Messenger, Sea of Stars is a similarly retro-styled title with some fresh twists. This is a turn-based RPG about a pair of warriors travelling the world as they warm up to their supernatural powers and thwart some evildoers along the way. The combat is strategic and rewarding to master, and there's a great cast of characters you'll love by the end, including the bad guys. Gorgeous presentation and a twisting story tie it all together.

I always appreciate these lists because sometimes there are seemingly thousands of games to scroll through in these sales (like this one) 😅 Ain't nobody got time for that
Or you could buy Gordian Quest and Curved Space for around £1.60 each to keep that backlog ever increasing
Couldn't help but notice in the last sale you'd changed the '7/10 only' rule, literally only because you really felt the need to recommend buying Star Wars Outlaws even though you rated it only a 6/10 (no other 6/10 or lower scoring game featured on the list lol).
This time you seem to have forgotten that you had changed the template. "Everything listed here comes with at least a 7/10 score from Push Square" but ya still featuring the completely mid Ubi open-worlder
@SleepyNick Mistakes happen haha. I had it in my head we'd awarded it a 7, that's all. I've replaced it.
Noooo! Not Star Wars Outlaws! (On sale now)
It's kind of strange that Crimson Desert isn't in this list. It's part of the sale, meets the rating requirement, and it's on sale for the first time since release (as far as I can tell).
Space Marine 2 is showing for £12 for me, maybe its because I keep clicking on it so often? Might have a go at it for that.
Picked up Atomic Heart for £12. May as well give it a go as its so cheap
@Decoy_Snake great game and especially at that price
somebody needs to check your maths haha! KCD2 85% off and its still £26? if only it was 85% off!!
@Dimey Fixed
@Joel_Lives I just finished it with all the DLC and I do recommend it! It's original and fast paced (I even cried at the end of the 4th DLC lol)
What I miss extremely in PS Store, is a sorting similar to Xbox store: sort by discount % decreasing… it helps a lot to trace down what is actually discounted so much it’s worth to buy.
So your lists indeed help a lot too. They should hire you to do their job
Only 💿 for me... 2028 PS5 Pro gone!
@CheapMerc Just curious, why get rid of your PS5? You can still play your disc games, you can continue to buy games you missed the first time around, and you have access to two full generations. That's my disposition, anyway. Buy second hand only if you really want to stick it to them.
These articles are helpful for sussing out what you can get from PSN for the price of a Blockbuster rental.
Is a fair point. If Helix is not released or worth getting and PC prices are out of control I probably will just do as you said. But I know I will be super bummed when new games come out I want to play.
@CheapMerc Why limit yourself. Keep PS5 for few exclusives, buy Helix for all else, also on discs.
PC.. I feel these prices will not go down, they will go up. I fear this will also affect console prices more. If anyone thinks $1200 for a PS5 Pro is expensive just wait till you see PS6 price.
