Baldur's Gate 3 PS5

Baldur's Gate 3 developer Larian Studios has announced the opening of a seventh office, this time in Poland. Out of the country's capital city Warsaw, the new sister team will join six others in Quebec, Dublin, Guildford, Barcelona, Ghent, and Kuala Lumpur. This is all designed to boost the overall developer's "24-hour development cycle".

Ula Jach, the head of studio at the company, says the new office opening proves how serious Larian Studios is about Poland's gaming development scene, particularly in the RPG genre. "We're thrilled for the opportunity to collaborate with the abundant talent and expertise of the region, especially considering Poland's strong reputation as a hub for RPG and gaming enthusiasts."

Having wrapped up Baldur's Gate 3 and work on narrative-based content after launch, Larian Studios has confirmed it's developing two new games unrelated to the Baldur's Gate IP. CEO Swen Vincke previously said the two projects are the team's "best work ever" and both are fuelled by "the very same fire" that spawned last year's RPG epic.

In today's press release, he confirms the Polish office will be working on the two new RPGs. "We're a very bottom up company so I'm eager to see what new things they'll bring us," he said, commenting on the new recruits. "I think it'll work really well."
