Microsoft's CEO, Satya Nadella, has passed comment about Xbox's increased presence on other platforms. Speaking during an earnings call, he said how titles under the Xbox umbrella have been selling rather well on PlayStation Store.

"Earlier this month, we had seven games among the top 25 on the PlayStation Store, more than any other publisher," Nadella said. As VGC points out, it seems he may be referring to a recent report from Tweaktown, which outlines the 25 bestselling games on Sony's digital storefront — as of 18th April, at least. When you include titles published by Xbox Game Studios, Bethesda, and Activision — all now owned by Microsoft, of course — the data showed that it had even more games in the top 25 than Sony, with seven games to five.

PS Store's bestsellers list updates daily, however, and will differ by region, meaning the information is constantly in flux. At the time of writing, for example, the European top 25 contains six Microsoft-owned titles in different positions.

Nadella added that Microsoft is "committed to meeting players where they are by bringing great games to more people on more devices". We imagine that, based on how well some of its recently ported titles are doing on PlayStation, we may see more make the jump in the future.

It's also worth noting the explosive resurgence of Fallout, which will certainly be part of Microsoft's success story here. Fallout 76 is among the bestsellers, while a PS5 version of Fallout 4 was also recently released.
