Deals: PlayStation Direct Slashes Prices of Games and Accessories in January Sale (UK)

We gonna get any PS Portal stock or do we have to resort to getting gouged by losers?

I'm hoping for another PS Plus sale in January (I'm sure there was one last year)

I could see the 30% off discount or whatever it was for Black Friday but due to a glitch it ended up charging me the full amount for PS Premium rather than the discounted price when it auto renewed.

Sony were good enough to give me a full refund but the discount offer unfortunately disappeared

I would be tempted by the DualSense Edge with a £50+ discount but no way I’m spending over £200 on a controller

@Member_the_game There already was another PS Plus sale after that one(black Friday was 25% and not working for many people). The next one was 30% off(at least for Extra) and I think for everybody. The sale didn't get mentioned on any of these sites though and didn't appear on the PS store front page, was kinda odd. I think it only lasted like 5 days too.

Yeah it was very weird how the discount was visible to some people and not others.

I'm currently just paying for "Extra" on a month by month basis but hoping for a 12 month discount asap

Still waiting on those black faceplates to come back in stock.

Not very enticing really. Pretty much all the games can be found much cheaper if you can be bothered to put a bit of effort searching around online and the pulse headsets can be found a bit cheaper too.

You don't! I used HotStock app on Monday and it helped snag a Portal which I just received today at regular price! Just make sure you turn on notifications to get alerted to when ones comes in stock. I got mine through amazon that way.

@Enigk You and me both. I really don't understand how they could be completely out of stock for so long. It genuinely wouldn't surprise me if they've been discontinued completely given the focus is always on the other colours.

@Icey664 it's not really buying it off a scalper, some guy bought it, played it once and doesn't want it anymore. $300 CAD is actually a touch cheaper than retail after tax here in Canada.

@sanderson72 I may have to cave and get some third party ones at some stage but fingers crossed.

@MrHabushi They must see the traffic to the site so can see there is a demand. We can't be the only two looking for them and the margin on them has got to be good. They can't cost more than a few pounds to make.
