Blizzard is taking a page from the Fortnite playbook for the next Overwatch 2 event, announcing an in-game collaboration with K-Pop group Le Sserafim, and we got a brief concept clip to set the tempo.
The fun begins on 26th October with the in-game music video debut for the group's single, Perfect Night. Following that, a "Le Sserafim-inspired game mode", exclusive items, and Legendary hero skins will be revealed on 30th October and deployed on 1st November. Superfans attending Blizzcon on 4th November will get to see the group perform Perfect Night in person, which is pretty cool.
Le Sserafim comprises Kim Chaewon, Sakura, Huh Yunjin, Kazuha, and Hong Eunchae. The group only debuted in 2022 and has gained immense popularity in the year since. In a press release, Overwatch general manager Walter Kong said, "We're extremely excited to be working with Le Sserafim for our game's first musical artist collaboration. Like the heroes of Overwatch, the Le Sserafim members are amazing as individuals but unstoppable when they come together."

They are really desperate to save the sinking boat LOL. Come on MS use that infinite money to get "black pink". The only group that can save that trash game.
I have no idea who they are but then I know like three K-Pop groups. Two are the obvious and then Loona are pretty good. Tbh, there’s much more interesting Korean music out there, still can’t believe how good Mid-Air Thief’s Crumbling was and how out of left-field it came from.

First time I've wanted to play Overwatch in ages. I love Le Sserafim.

Wow they shouldn't have made a part 2. I like many others allotted some time for my daily overwatch fix. When part 2 came out I just lost interest.
This is dumb. Blizzard trying to ape what Riot had done with LoL in the most basic way.
Overwatch 2 is dying. Honestly I'm at the point of saying they should roll back to Overwatch 1. The new game modes suck, the new characters outside of Kiriko are nothing to write home about, and the game its self is boring and simplistic compared to the first game. What made overwatch fun and interesting was how complex it was. It was a shooter you had to think in. Instead they catered to the whip shot crowd of gamers. Making OW more like CoD was not the solution here. Removing 2 Cap was also not the right move either. I get the mode had issues, but they were fixed and were no where as bad as the kind of nonsense current OW2's new modes suffer from. Long periods in a match running long distances just to get to the new objective.
So I don't think a kpop group is going to fix a failing game. They shoudl have never shutdown OW1.
This is unforgivable.

Waste of time for the K-pop group, OW2 is a dead game.
