Nioh 2 has gone through some significant balance changes since its closed beta last November, so it makes a lot of sense to give those interested in the Team Ninja project one more chance to sample its offering before launch next month. The Nioh 2 Last Chance Trial starts on Friday 28th February and runs through to the end of play on Sunday 1st March.
Players will be able to check out three missions from the full experience along with the chance to take the all-new Switchglaive for a spin and create a character. Your game progress won't carry over to the final version when it releases on 13th March, but the avatar you create will. Get to grips with the Yokai skills and counters, make sure to manage your Ki, and weigh up whether Nioh 2 makes for a much fairer game in the Dark Realm.
Once again, we came away impressed from a recent preview event where we sampled two hours of the game. "Nioh 2 will be yet another phenomenal swan song for Sony's current-generation console." Are you going to give Nioh 2 another chance? Share your thoughts in the comments below.

"Freed from this mortal coil"
I’ll give it another go! I’m a big fan of (though not very good at) Dark Souls/Bloodborne so it’s tough to like a...knock-off? Maybe that’s too harsh a word...
Is this open to everyone?
@GealachNua point well made!
Nioh is the only souls-like game that really got its hooks into me.
