The Cooking Mama games are normally associated with Nintendo hardware, but it looks like the series may be preparing for a brand new kitchen. The whimsical franchise is all about making tasty treats by following Mama's instructions and completing various mini games, and it appears the next instalment will release on PlayStation 4.
Two rating boards have listed Cooking Mama: Cookstar. The Australian classification has it down as a multiplatform release, and the German USK board lists the new title for PS4, as well as Switch. Both claim the publisher to be Planet Entertainment, a small company that's published a handful of titles on Nintendo's hybrid machine.
Usually, ratings like these are pretty good indicators of a game's existence, so we'd expect an official announcement to be made soon. Perhaps we'll learn more at Gamescom later this month. Are you ready for Cooking Mama: Cookstar on PS4? Bring the heat in the comments below.

Real world: pay 10 euro, cook for half an hour, have a nice meal.
Cooking mama: pay 40 euro, cook for half an hour, have nothing to eat.
I vaguely remember seeing game play of the first title and thinking that it wasn't too appealing, but then again, it must have some sort of appeal if it is still continuing today.
From the title : cookstar maybe some sort of overcooked-esque game. Don't think it will be the same gameplay as the one on Nintendo DS though
Cool my little nephew would love to play this game.
Finally. The long awaied debut lol.
Rated R and we get to cook meth.
