Start your engines and grab some wumpa fruit: the first seasonal content has arrived in Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled. The Nitro Tour Grand Prix is now live in Activision's rejuvenated kart racer, but you'll need to download the latest patch for the game first. Patch version 1.04 is ready for download, weighing in at 2.1GB.
The Nitro Tour adds the Twilight Tour track, an all-new creation from Beenox, and of course throws in a huge collection of extra bits and bobs to unlock. Characters such as Tawna, new skins, new vehicles, and more -- there's lots to earn over the course of the Grand Prix. You can read up on all that through here.

Bit concerned there are rewards for only the top 5% of players. No word of they'll be available later
@Knuckles-Fajita I read somewhere yesterday (trying to think where) that it will all come to the Pit Stop in the future.
I have absolutely ZERO chance of getting anything past the first bronze stage (the Bandibuggy kart), as I SUUUUUCK at this game. Odd, considering that I have 100% the game twice (psone and again on vita), but I am just getting battered on this version. Good luck to all those with talent though.
With the challenges being so online focused most of us won’t get past bronze level. Which is such a shame
Yes, I've had a look and a lot of the challenges encourage you to play online. You can earn a fair amount offline, but it's definitely pushing you in that direction, which I guess makes sense.
@Quintumply I think for trophies or titles or ranks online only makes sense but I don’t believe content should ever force you to play online. There should be ways to earn and unlock content for offline players. Content should be accessible for all abilities of players and shouldn’t discriminate... we all paid for the game after all
I'll give it a go this evening after work. Hopefully it'll be good fun, but I'm concerned it could become a tedious grindfest to unlock things. Collecting wumpa coins outside of multiplayer has been too tedious up to now, so I wouldn't be surprised if the grand prix has something similarly annoying.
@crimsontadpoles once you grabbed the easily solo player ones it’s 100% gonna be a grind
