Assassin's Creed Odyssey's prolific post-launch support continues today with the final episode in the Legacy of the First Blade saga. The DLC is set to wrap up the story of the Order of the Ancients and their assault on either Kassandra or Alexios, which ended on a pretty controversial plot point last time out.
Over on the Ubisoft blog, the French publisher describes the episode as "the calm before a storm. Your misthios returns to the little village of Dyme after a lengthy absence, and spends the episode's early moments hunting boar, gathering shellfish, and enjoying a simple life. This domestic peace doesn't hold for long, though, and as Legacy of the First Blade crashes toward its fiery conclusion, you'll learn more about the Order of the Ancients, discover a connection with Assassin's Creed Origins, and unlock an extremely useful new Warrior ability."
That's not it when it comes to Assassin's Creed Odyssey DLC though - in fact we've only just reached the halfway mark in terms of what has been promised. After the culmination of the Legacy of the First Blade, the game will return with a further three episodes titled The Fate of Atlantis. Alongside that, season pass holders can look forward to Assassin's Creed III Remastered at the end of March.

This game easily has one of the best season passes of the last few years. I’m so glad I got the steelbook gold edition for this and origins because both season passes delivered and then some.
I've never ever bought a 'season pass' (I hate that term) for a game but I'm seriously tempted with AC Odyssey because it's bloomin' marvellous and I want more.
I've literally just bought the base game and am only a few hours in but I've got to say it's fast becoming one of my favourite games this generation and I love how Kassandra is more than willing to tell annoying npc's to f*** **f, something I've wanted to do for a very long time
@ApostateMage It's really fun so far, I'm really impressed with the combat, especially with the spear, because that's a weapon you rarely find in most of these type of games.
@Carlos82 you guys make me feel like I'm wasting my time playing Alexios, I think he's fine. Can't wait to see the hype with Kass.
But like HZD I don't like that I don't have a spot or home to go bask in glory and I agree with @get2sammyb the mouse pointer thing, though you can just hover straight to where you want, it can be annoying sometimes, same with Apex.
Top notch support for this great game.
@TheArt I briefly switched to Alexios for a new game plus and although he was okay, in a goofy sort of way, the boy isn't a patch on Kassandra. I know the spoken lines are identical no matter who you play as but Kass just seems to nail them so much better and her facial expressions are so good.
@TheArt I suspect they're both pretty similar overall, just for me it's more refreshing seeing a female character portrayed as she is. Also the voice actor is great and really seems like she's having fun with it.
I know what you mean about the house and it's strange that many of these games seem to omit such a thing, even Spiderman wouldn't let you in despite it existing in cutscenes
Yes!
And I agree that this is a good season pass. It's cheaper than the main game and adds lot's of gameplay stuff unlike that DOA 6 season pass.
Anyway can't wait to start episode 3!
@Carlos82 @ApostateMage jeez now I feel like starting a new game because I'm only at Kephallonia, but maybe I might not.
So Spiderman also doesn't have a house...tsk. I feel we should have the option to fastforward time by sleeping in every openworld game, I don't know if it's to force us to play night because daytime always looks better. Like the urge to meditate and fastforward when "looks like rain" starts in Witcher 3.
@Kindaichi I see, I might just continue with him anyway
Kass for life.
I bought the Gold Edition on release but I'm still making my way through the main game, nevermind any DLC. I have done a couple of the free post-launch quests but that's it. 65 hours in and still a long way to go if the maps anything to go by. Doesn't help that RDR2 really distracted me less than a month after this released.
