To the surprise of absolutely nobody, Red Dead Redemption 2 remains at the top of the UK retail chart for the third week in a row. Apparently holding 30 per cent of the market to itself, the smash hit Western continues to be a resounding success, despite selling about half as well as last week. A lack of major new releases means the top 10 has seen almost no changes.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 and FIFA 19 are still second and third respectively, while Marvel's Spider-Man also holds steady in fifth place. LEGO DC Super-Villains just about scrapes into the top 10. Next week's chart should prove to be a little more interesting as we see the release of games like Spyro: Reignited Trilogy, Fallout 76, and Hitman 2.

Good to see LEGO DC Super-Villains sneak back in. Was a little disappointing to see it absent last week.
Good to see spider-man still in there
Up there with The Witcher 3 for the best game of this generation, for me. I'm on chapter 4 but it's just getting better and better.
@ApostateMage I'm on chapter 4 as well. Really enjoying it
@Quintumply just about at the end of chapter 3 here
@ApostateMage They’re probably my 2 favourite games of all time. And I still have one mission left of chapter 2. Just love exploring and doing the challenges
@BearsEatBeets
Same. Sort of making my own story.
Yep, control niggles aside RDR2 really is a genre and console generation defining game. Other than how much I enjoyed The Witcher 3, Bloodborne or several Switch titles nothing has really come close. I even upgraded my MacBook Air to Mojave having never taken it off the default Mavericks so I could use PS4 Remote Play so I wasn't tying up the main TV for hours at a time, that's how much I enjoy it. About halfway through Chapter 3 with 70+ hours gameplay.
@JJ2 @zekepliskin @BearsEatBeets @jdv95 @Quintumply I reckon I've put well over 100 hours into this and I still haven't uncovered the whole map!
And this is before RDR2's online mode is added...
I think it's even more surprising Black Ops 4 is destroying almighty FIFA 😮. Like I said GTAV just passed the baton to RDR2 so it's going to be in that Top 10 for a looooooong time.
RDR2 is over hyped. The story is ropey & the epilogue is tedious. Weapons resetting when getting on your horse, not being able to switch between buy & sell without having to back out, the need to hold a button to select & the dreadful wheel menu system and doing chores.I enjoyed it up until Chapter 4 & it just went downhill from there. It just wasn't fun.
And next week features Pokemon.
God help us.
Next week is gonna be war for the top 5!
