Rockstar is no slouch when it comes to visuals, and Red Dead Redemption 2 is looking particularly pretty. The developer has released dozens of new screenshots of the upcoming open world Western, and it looks utterly gorgeous.
There's a huge range of sights to be seen here, with some shots focusing on characters or action scenes, while others are more serene snaps of the game's varied scenery. The level of detail in some of the screens is insane, especially for a game of this size.
The original Red Dead Redemption was wonderfully atmospheric, and was a graphical powerhouse on PS3, and it looks like Rockstar wants to recapture that with the sequel. Looks aren't everything, of course, but for a huge open world game, this is seriously impressive stuff.
What do you make of these new Red Dead Redemption 2 screenshots? Ride into the sunset in the comments below.

The game has always looked stunning. It's a VERY pretty game.
So beautiful, Rockstar always delivers stunning environments and landscapes. Also, the little details are really impressive too.
... those horse puddles don't look right...
@jdv95 You can rest assured someone will complain about the 'soupy' looking ground textures and yap on about 'plays best on (insert hardware name here), 4K 30/60FPS, yadda yadda yadda...
To those 'gamers' I say just shut it and enjoy the game when it comes out for whatever system you own.
This is going to be something special.
Yawn...more bullshots! Let's see some actual gameplay! Personally I'm super skeptical about it. These screen looks great, tho, especially that first one with the hazy clouds. I could live in that screenshot....
Wit woo, they're some real nice looking screenshots. I am so up for this one.
