Kingdom Come: Deliverance is out today on PlayStation 4 (you can read our hands on impressions here) but it hasn't enjoyed an especially smooth launch. Many players are reporting progression bugs, framerate issues, and a bunch of other things, but developer Warhorse Studios is at least listening.
Creative director Daniel Vávra took to Twitter in order to let fans know that fixes are coming. "Hello guys, we are aware about the bugs that could happen and working hard on fixing them," he wrote. "Next patch is coming soon and will fix lot of quest bugs and other issues like frame drops." Good to hear.
However, Vávra goes on to say that the next patch may take a little while to arrive, stating that it's "expected release in approx 2 weeks." Best find another way of keeping yourself busy until it's available to download.
Did you nab Kingdom Come? Have you ran into any problems? Don't offend any nobles in the comments section below.

Patch the opening and the Run chapter as well. That's the worst start to any game I've played in the last five years. It's absolutely abysmal and unfun. That should really just be a cutscene.
And yeah I think I'm done with this game. Three hours of tutorial and one lockpick minigame later and I think this game is just a gigantic waste of time. I've been in a grand total of five fights. FIVE. I've gotten two crashes and had to wait five minutes for the initial load and a minute for each additional load.
This game is garbage. Do not buy it! At least not now.
And my fears we're right for this game. Glad I didn't shell out $60 for this game.
got but will play sometime
Wait a minute, wasn't there a 20GB day one patch for this already? What the ****, guys?
@Yowza Watch the language please!
@Yowza They claimed that the day one patch was because they basically had to redownload the whole game to update it. If that's true though, will every patch for this game require the same ludicrously large download?
I'll wait for this game to be patched enough to be stable before jumping on board.
Why they just delay the game.😱.word up son
I'm quite a way into it now and I don't see what the problem is, yes you get the odd frame rate drop but what massive open world game has not had similar issues, you have too realise it started off as a kickstarter and what they have achieved is amazing, anyway screw this website I've got a masterpiece to get back too
Expect another huge patch then, the amount of bugs my buddies are bringing up just won't get cleared out in 2 weeks.
''we are aware about the bugs that could happen and working hard on fixing them''
Then why did you release the game in this state in the first place!?!
@Dankestdankz Still patches bigger then a complete game are a joke kickstarter or not. A 2 month delay on release that is what companies should do.
@Flaming_Kaiser I got it pre downloaded and the patch was already ready for me so that didn't bother me
Smh.... pathetic this kind of practice should NOT be supported. Why not delay the game another 30 odd days or so to have the game run optimal.
While I like these types of games (ie: Elder Scrolls series), I watched the opening of this and oh my lord. There is a FPS run where you ride the horse for what seems like 5+ minutes staring at the back of its bobbing head, in the most un-fun entry into a game story ever. This may have been what Constable_What was talking about... who thought this would be a good way to launch people into their game? Coupled with an apparent anal-retentive approach to realism (and all the boring mandatory things that are removed from other games), and the lack of any fantasy or magic aspect.. it just seems like a well thought out invitation to put you to sleep.
Disappointing, as I would like a companion IP to the Elder Scrolls medieval setting, but this is far from it. AND hearing about the giant patch requirement. Should have been delayed until they had their big bugs worked out.
The media-reported problems, as well as the limited appeal of a non-fantasy detail oriented medieval game in todays gamespace.. I would not be surprised if it end up in the $20 bargain bin in a few months like Andromeda did.
@NoxAeturnus ha, they also said "instead of working on dlc, we fixed the game with this big ass patch for the last few weeks". I'm paraphrasing, but you get the idea. They're pretending we should applaud them for the giant day one patch instead of dlc.
No duh! Get your game right before trying to get more money from us!
Beta, release a finished game. I was going to buy it this week. Maybe not now. I'll wait and see.
@Eternallover21 some people have poor Internet so they like to blame other people for it instead of paying a bit more for a better service
