An update on the Japanese PlayStation Blog has revealed a limited edition PS4 console emblazoned with a unique Valkyria Chronicles 4 design.
Only announced for Japan at this time, the standard PS4 console will come in 500GB and 1TB flavours, and will also come bundled with an exclusive theme depicting the game's characters. It will launch alongside the title's Japanese release date, 21st March 2018.
With the game making its way overseas later this year, there's every chance we will see this hardware come across too, but we'll have to wait and see.

@Th3solution I already own a FF 15 console and a white one which i want to sell 3 is just to much.
Why doesn't Sony ever actually put a new color on the PS4 itself, instead of just a design in the top? The only one I can remember where they changed the whole color, was the MGSV one. The white one doesn't count because I wouldn't call it a special edition, just an alternate color.
I quite like the look of this one. Maybe they're actually getting their stuff together with these custom console designs, because last year's were awful.
Still think custom design consoles are silly. They look nice in a dedicated gaming room maybe but otherwise I want it to fit in with the rest of my electronics, not stand out like a kids lunchbox.

Not a fan of these designs. If I ever upgrade it would be to a white Pro.
Nice! Also Glad Sony putting some muscle behind the launch. If i was in the market for a new one - this would be up there on the list.
Really hope they do an LE for the game in the States.
@NinjaWaddleDee I've never been tempted by a franchise-specific design (my consoles are portals to many different worlds, not just Gotham City or a galaxy far, far away) but I do love alternate colours. I had a Satin Silver PS2 back in the day, and regret that it broke... now I've got one of those cheap slim ones, in standard black. Boo.

Collecting PS4 isn't my wallet's idea of a good time. At $400 a pop I think I'll stick with my MH edition.
I'll get some Valkyria Chronicles 4 Joycons if they make them though- $80 is alot better than $400, plus dressing up systems you take with you and show others is an investment I can get behind.
