Hear that sound? It's Koei Tecmo marching yet another Warriors game westward, much to the appreciation of European and North American fans. Coinciding with its presence at the Tokyo Game Show, the publisher has revealed that Samurai Warriors 4 Empires is invading overseas territories in early 2016.
Now before everyone gets horribly confused in the comments section below, this is another entry in the publisher's long running Empires spin-off series. In other words, it doesn't have much to do with Samurai Warriors 4-II, which comes out next month over here. Indeed, the Empires games are more strategic affairs, as you manage and build your kingdom and its army while partaking in some typically bombastic hack and slash combat.
Can you keep up with all of these Warriors games, or are you struggling? Fight off a whole new horde of enemies in the comments section below.

I literally just got Dynasty Warriors 7 Empires yesterday after a sudden pricedrop on the Playstation Store, and whilst playing it, I thought "I wish there was a Empires game for Samurai Warriors..."
Koei Tecmo, are you spying on me?
Tecmo koei are gonna release a warriors anthology which will have 9 million versions of the last 3 years games which take a combined total of 763 years just to level up your main character to level 50.
I once enjoyed warriors games - but thus last 3 years have been crazy release schedules. What's the definitive game?
@themcnoisy Tough question. In my opinion Samurai Warriors 4 and One Piece: Pirate Warriors 3 are the best Warriors games currently available, but that could soon change with the release of Samurai Warriors 4-II. Empires looks pretty great, too.
The general impression I'm getting from importers of 4-II and from the Japanese fans is that 4-II is a step back from 4. It's not like an XL release, they basically took away certain modes, added only one new character and force you to use certain characters on each map. It doesn't so much expand on SW4 as much as it does remix it and lessen it, apparently. It's a shame, I think it'll actually damage perception of their recent output (which has been great, 8E aside arguably) as well as negatively affecting sales of SW4E.
