Silent Hill: Downpour Drenches Japan on 8th November

Gloomy outlook

Publisher Konami has forecast an 8th November release date for Silent Hill: Downpour in Japan. The title launched in Europe and North America earlier this year to a mixed critical reception. The game will release as a PlayStation 3 exclusive overseas, presumably due to the lack of interest in the Xbox 360 platform.

Silent Hill: Downpour depicts the tale of Murphy Pendleton, a convict who wanders into the infamous American suburb when his prison bus crashes. Needless to say, he doesn’t encounter unicorns and rainbows during his stay.

Aside from the frame rate issues, I really enjoyed this game and I'm not sure why it received mixed critical reception. It's creepy and the story kept me engaged all the way through.

@Rawk_Hawk yeah I agree, I thought it was a very underrated game one of the better SH games and my personal fav SH. I put it up there with 2&3 for sure
