Check It Out: Max Payne Has Hair Again.

Not ones to be left behind, Rockstar's confirmed that Max Payne 3 will feature a new multiplayer mode.

The magazine also shows that since his hiatus, Payne has grown some hair. When the game was shown off many moons ago, the protagonist sported a run-down bald scalp. Now he's got some tufts to keep his head warm. Apparently we'll see the character go through a range of hair-styles throughout the game.

Payne's still not in a good place though. The cover image shows him appearing to have some kind of break-down. An interview in the magazine also notes that the character is "not the booze-soaked hulk we’d been led to expect".

Additional information reveals that the game is now being developed across three studios. Rockstar Vancouver is still at the helm, but it's getting support from London, New England and Toronto. Video games, eh? They're becoming crazy expensive ventures.

“We have a lot of talented people across all our studios,” said the game's art director, Rob Nelson, “And this just means we can bring the right people in for a specific task when needed – and it gives the games a consistent level of quality and an approach that’s Rockstar.”

There's a ton more information and new screens in the latest issue of EDGE magazine. If you want more information, you should probably pick up a copy.
