Dragon Age II's First Set Of DLC Will Be Titled "The Exiled Prince".

The DLC follows the story of Sebastian Vael, an angered archer darkened by the rage of his families' murder. Yup, it's Dragon Age. (Yawn.)

Turns out Sebastian is a recruitable character in Dragon Age II's main campaign, so there's a bit of synergy between the DLC and game.

“Our goal for the Dragon Age II DLC is to extend Hawke’s journey and the Dragon Age universe by introducing additional characters with meaningful storylines and intense, dynamic missions,” said Mark Darrah, the game’s executive producer. “Not only will 'The Exiled Prince' allow players to experience Sebastian’s powerful revenge story, but they will also be able to utilize him as a follower throughout Hawke’s rise to power in Dragon Age II.”

The DLC's included for free with the Signature Edition of Dragon Age II. If you pre-order the game before January 11th you'll be upgraded to the enhanced version at no extra cost. The Signature Edition also includes a soundtrack and a variety of in-game weapons. Those who don't buy the Signature Edition of Dragon Age II will be able to buy the DLC for $7.

Anyone excited about this game? We were pretty surprised to see it riding so high on the pre-order charts. The setting and fiction does absolutely nothing for us here.
