Gran Turismo 5's Signature Edition Is Like A Nice Woman: Sleek, Sexy & Very, Very Expensive.

SCEE's just confirmed the top-tier collector's edition for Gran Turismo 5, and it's just a little bit mad. Known as the Signature Edition, the bumper package will set you back a whopping €179.99 (~£150).

Let's take a look at what you get then: a metal sculpted box finished in SLS AMG Obsidian Black, exclusive GT branded SLS AMG 1:43 car, GT leather wallet containing Signature Edition entry card, branded USB key with Polyphony/Mercedez-Benz trailer, GT branded metal key fob, Signature Edition coffee table book featuring the beautiful cars and locations of Gran Turismo 5, 200 page Apex drivers magazine with hints on driving technique, car tuning, future technologies and more.

Not much then? Well, there's more. You'll also get a download voucher for some in-game cars, aswell as an exclusive dynamic theme. Phew. Finally, those who pick up the Signature Edition will get entered into a competition to win a real Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG. You can get more details about that through here.

Those unable to drop €179.99 will be pleased to know there's an alternative €79.99 (~£67) option. The Collector's Edition includes the extra in-game cars, the dynamic theme, a unique slip-case, five collectible art cards and the Apex driver's magazine.

There's a ton more information about Gran Turismo 5's differing special editions over on the PlayStation Blog. Phew. That was a lot of information. Anyone planning to pick either of this up?
