That's the hot speculation circulating MCV who claim to have been informed "of a significant increase in marketing spend at two key publishers for Q4 2010". Why? "It is being speculated that publishers are laying the ground for an offensive on a brand new iteration of Sonys handheld."
Another publisher has revealed to MCV that they are waiting on the official announcement of the PSP2 before they reveal their plans regarding the platform, but they "did allude to the ongoing development of several unnamed titles behind closed doors".
What do you guys reckon, new PSP this year? Let's hope, if it is happening, that it doesn't leak, eh?
