So The Cars Look Life-Like In GT5, And Hopefully The AI Will Be Too.

Yes, the cars look and feel right, but the opponent drivers are far too robotic to complete the full illusion. It's something the series' creator, Kazunori Yamauchi, wants to put right with Gran Turismo 5, confirming that, yes, the cars will be more "human-like".

"How close the AI can come to human lap times? That was the focus of development up until GT4," Yamauchi told PSM3 magazine, via CVG. "Now that has been successful to some degree, an attempt has been made to express more human-like behaviour in GT5."

<span>Hopefully this means more jostling for position, blocking, and perhaps even the odd "mistake" from AI drivers. A Gran Turismo 5 blow-out is due at this year's E3, with the game likely to be one of this year's biggest releases.
