Indeed, ten years ago to the day, the Playstation 2 launched in Japan alongside Ridge Racer 5 and Street Fighter Ex 3. The system launched later that same year in Europe and America.
In its ten years, the PS2 has sold over 140 million units, becoming the best selling home-console device of all time. Yup. It's biggest selling games were GTA: San Andreas, and Gran Turismo 3 and 4.
Now that the PS2's ten years are up, what's the betting on Sony announcing some kind of PSN based "PS2 Classics" service? Hmm.
