Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth: Missing: Mr. Birdie Walkthrough

Missing: Mr. Birdie is a Side Quest in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth that takes place in the Corel Region. As part of our Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth guide, we're going to provide a Missing: Mr. Birdie Walkthrough that covers all the stages of the Side Quest.

Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth: Missing: Mr. Birdie Walkthrough

Missing: Mr. Birdie can be claimed off the Community Noticeboard in The Dustbowl in the Corel Region, which is just to the left of the Gold Saucer. It comes with a Level 30 recommendation.

Mr. Birdie's Buddies' Request

Go to North Corel, just west of the Gold Saucer, to speak with the Side Quest giver and see what's going on. It turns out to be a group of children who have lost Mr. Birdie.

Obtain the Transmuter Chip

You must now craft Bird Traps to secure Mr. Birdie, and you'll get the Transmuter Chip to create such devices by completing Lifespring activities in the Corel Region. Having finished Expedition Intel 3: Oasis Lifespring and Expedition Lifespring 4: Watermain Lifespring, we unlocked Excavation Intel 2: Deserted Village, and we found the chip here. Now you have it, open the Item Transmuter in the pause menu and scroll through to Key Items. Craft the Bird Trap using 5 Sage, 3 Mist Seeds, and 3 Marjoram.

Now, open up your map and head for the three green objectives markers in the Corel Region. At each location, you need to lay down a Bird Trap at the red trees.

Check the First Bird Trap

Now you've laid the three Bird Traps, you need to check on them. Return to the first Bird Trap to see if Mr. Birdie has been caught there.

Check the Second Bird Trap

You must now check the second Bird Trap you laid for Mr. Birdie.

Check the Third Bird Trap

Finally, return to the third Bird Trap you placed. There, you'll finally find Mr. Birdie, and a Gigant Bomb to defeat.

Report to the Children

Head back to North Corel and see the kids who set you the Side Quest to complete it.
