Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth: Lifeline in Peril Walkthrough

Lifeline in Peril is a Side Quest in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth that can be started in Chapter 2. As part of our Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth guide, we're going to provide a Lifeline in Peril Walkthrough that covers all the stages of the Side Quest. It takes place in the Grasslands.

Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth: Lifeline in Peril Walkthrough

Lifeline in Peril is unlocked towards the end of Chapter 2, once you've obtained a Chocobo. Travel back to Kalm and talk to the man who's gathered a crowd in the main square. He's Fritz, the mayor of Kalm, and he needs you to see what a merc is up to as they try and fix the mako pipeline running into the place.

Head to the Maintenance Warehouse

With your objective in hand, leave Kalm and go to the Maintenance Warehouse due south up the small mountain. Once there, you'll discover the merc is Kyrie, who you saw earlier. She'll ask you to gather parts to fix the pipe, with locations to search marked on your map with green icons.

Gather Parts

Search the four marked areas on your map and find a few Slabs of Rusted Sheet Metal and some Corroded Nails. Once you have all the parts, return to Kyrie and give them to her.

Repair the Mako Pipeline

Follow Kyrie to the breakage in the mako pipeline and defeat all the enemies — both before and after the repair has been made.

Report to the Mayor

Fast travel back to Kalm and speak to Fritz to complete the Side Quest.
