I've been playing stray for the first time and I'm already hooked! I'm at the first town. I never thought playing as a cat could be this fun! Anyone else play this hidden gem?

I'd argue that it is not a hidden gem as it came out to universal acclaim and was included on PS Plus extra 😸

It was my second favourite game to Elden Ring that year. I loved the atmosphere and immersion on our short cat journey, and I wish I knew of more games like it. It was so chill and looked absolutely stunning.

Hope to find more indie games that look this good and create such a charming world to explore.

@Ravix
Another indie game i recently played that was cool would have to be Kena bridge of spirits. It was like Zelda if it were made by Pixar!

@Truegamer79 yeeeeah, I just checked some out in the app and remembered I have Kena on PS Plus.

If you're still going on Stray my one tip is to play it as slowly as possible, and really get into the fact you are a cat 😸 it's a really great experience and not one to rush through.

They are also making a film of STRAY, Annapurna being publisher has probably helped with that 😸

I suppose I should check out Outer Wilds and What Remains of Edith Finch, as I think they are highly rated Annapurna Interactive games too

@Ravix Can’t speak on Outer Wilds, but you really do need to play What Remains of Edith Finch. It can be finished in one sitting, maybe 2-3 hours, so very easy to fit in when you’re in the mood one lazy afternoon. It’s fantastic in several ways, but has one of the most memorable sequences in all of gaming for me. It’s technically a walking sim, but don’t let that dissuade you because it’s much more.

Also Kena’s really good. Not as innovative as WRoEF but it’s a really good time, although slightly iterative like a lot of open world games.

@Truegamer79 I put off Stray because I didn’t really think it was for me, but I played it a few months ago and really liked it. I’m not a cat person, but it is so charming and the post apocalyptic Sci-Fi setting makes it really interesting.

you’re better off walking your own cat instead …

Im joking , but you gotta admit that was pretty funny 😂
