Topic: game download time

i am having issues with trying to download fallout 76. my ps5 is saying that it will take 3 hours, and it shouldn't be since i have unlimited internet. is there any way to fix this, or do i just have to wait? if there is any other info i need to give, please let me know : )))

Use Ethernet for the download, do speed test and check the following for download time:

Also restart your router and PS5.

Fallout76 via Gamepass shows it is currently over 100Gb. I guess it will be the same for PS5. On a 50mbps download speed, that would take around 5 hours or so providing it is consistent. I assume your download speed is 50mbps. Are you using ethernet or wi-fi? If ethernet, then the speed should be consistent. If via wi-fi then the speed can fluctuate. Anyway, if shows 3hours then there is zero issue.

Weirdly my PS4 Pro with an SSD in it seems to download PS4 titles about 4Mb/s faster than the PS5 when both are hard wired to the same router?

Either way, > 100Gb is going to take some time!
