As a doom fan from the original release. I love the series and have enjoyed them all. This one seems a bit meh though and for me the lack of multiplayer is a mistake. Multiplayer in doom has normally been good fun, eternal dropped the ball in that respect imo. Dark ages should have included good old fashioned death match and coop modes. I bought it anyway but I do think the lack of MP will put some off.
I am surprised how happy this decision has made me feel. I really did not see this coming at all what with all the "experts" saying it was a done deal. While it will inevitably eventually go through, any poke in the eye for M$ gets the thumbs up from me.
@Ouch yep which unfortunately makes zero difference on the Addams family table. It's the same lag also when using a gaming monitor. How they got away releasing this in its broken state is a mystery.
It would be great if they could fix the awful lag on ps5. I purchased the Addams family and it's unplayable. No issues with fx3 at all. They clearly did zero testing on ps5
All I can say is - I am loving the experience VR2 is bringing. I haven't screamed, smiled and laughed while gaming like this for a long long time. Amazing stuff!
Day one for me! Price is reasonable given the tech included. really looking forward to it and think Sony should be commended for continuing to drive the VR competitive landscape forward.
