@-Sigma- I've been saying this for a while and Im probably the only one that thinks they are doing this on purpose to drive up demand. Prior to covid nintendo did the same ***** ,yet magically everyone forgot or didn't care. They trickled out limited stock to drive up demand and when that slowed they had all this surplus with wii and wii u in some markets.
