@trev666 I have been playing since launch. I actually like the story so far. The ideas and concept are interesting. Driving is simple yet enjoyable. Gunplay and cover is basic sure but there are some interesting mini games and the AI is hit and miss, sometimes they seem so basic and other times they do seem like they are attempting to flank you. The main gripe for me is how poor the optimisation is currently, choppy framerates even when driving an off beaten road without much going on. Hopefully that is something they can fix in future patches. I will most likely finish the campaign and then give it a month or two for fixes to be implemented. Hopefully they will stick with it and see their true vision come to life. If there's anything I haven't covered, let me know and I'll try to go into more depth or answer the question. Reviews are personal preferences, but the general consensus seems to be "let us all throw hate towards the game and review it against GTA", even though that isn't what the devs were aiming for. 🙄
I rarely pick up indie games new, mainly due to money issues at the moment. However, I did pick this and Shadows of Doubt up digitally on release date. Zero regrets on buying either of them. Though I wish I had more hours to sink it to them. They are both high up on my backlog of games to play.
@Lukeaj93 absolutely recommend it, especially for q couple of quid. It's hard to start with but stick with it and it's something special. The second game up to now seems a bit more forgiving on the combat side so far.

@Loamy yeah, I had to load up an earlier save after falling into that pit. Luckily I save quite regularly.
