@get2sammyb What a hyperbolic comment. An "unmitigated disaster" would be releasing it to thud like Sony did with whatever that other big budget bland shooter was. A "regular disaster" is cancelling the game or releasing a buggy mess. A "significant setback" is delaying its release to do an overhaul of the whole game after critical feedback. Not good news, but far from anything outside the norms considering how many AAA big budget belly flops we see these days. Rockstar delayed the release of their game and it easily could have been due to internal play testing showing they needed to do better. You never know unless they intentionally say so. Their PR people decided they want to signal that they are really working hard on taking critical feedback and making investments to get it right. That's an upside thing, not signaling this game is toast. Now will they potentially cancel it if they can't get the marketing and play testing feedback they want? These days it's certainly possible. At that point you can write the unmitigated disaster eulogy. I could honestly care less about this game one way or another, just find it amusing how consistently overreacting gamers are.
