Day 1 full purchase for me, take my money. I've been waiting patiently for a release date since SotS was revealed last year. I just love Journey, Abzu & Pathless.

Beautiful games, especially Journey which I must have played through over 100 times since it's 2012 release. And this reminds me so much of it, can't wait

Re: 25+ PS5, PS4 Games You Must Buy Cheap in PS Store's Indie Sale

I always find it extremely odd quite a few gamers go with the 'I'm not a fan of Indie games', line. Of course, each to their own opinion. I just find it quite surprising & indeed a bit sad for theee gamers. As there are hundreds upon hundreds of amazingly varied & excitingly enjoyable Indie titles.... Just a shame.

Re: Days Gone's Review Scores Have Been Rising Over Time, with PS5 Version Coming Highly Recommended

Just to show some outlets really shouldn't be allowed on Metacritic (luckily Opencritic, the better review hub easily does not allow them). I refer to the UK tabloid & online outlet, The Daily Star. Which gave the original game 10 out of 10 (so 100), but now give the remaster which they say us better in every way with great additions... wait for it... 8/10 (80).

Useless! I really wish it was more like 15 years ago with about 50-60 reviews from top outlets. So many of the now 100-140 reviews metacritic allows are just absolutely bobbins!

Re: Japan Sales Charts: PS5 Continues to Tank in Japan Following Price Increase

marcoballistic

PS4 sold 7.9 million over its entire lifespan in Japan, the PS5 is at 6.1 million 4 years into its run. According to a Famitsu article, 4 years 3 months into PS4 lifecycle (March 2018) 6.4 million had sold in Japan. So overall the difference is extremely minimal.

We will have to wait & see in 4 years of course. But considering Japan's ever increasing shift to handheld & mobile gaming, these numbers are looking fine for Sony's console in my opinion going off the numbers.

Inflation is what it is, it affects everything. No one wants price increases of course but here we are.
